Just coming in to land now on the icy runway up to Christmas . Not yet time to unfasten the seat belts - there's still all the shopping to do- some panic trying to make the right decision over what to get for the other passengers on the journey, some get it wrong - it's no joke collecting the contents of the Christmas menu - pretty much same as last year you might say?
But it's all about the kids ( so they think). When I was in my Santa years we didn't get off the ground nor get much choice ( oranges or new clothes were standard).
Today's travellers into the future want the technology to go there (mobile phone,i pads etc ) Us old timers knew little about our friends until school reopened. Now with Twitter and Facebook they are in continuous contact . Some have no knowledge of postage stamps and such antiquities. However the recent times have produced a series of unpredictable events - Trump as President in USA - Brexit - Corbyn emerging as a credible future PM and more than likely
new technology has been mainly responsible for these happenings. Now we're in the era of 'fake news' as put forward by the aforesaid Trump. Well surprise surprise fake news has been around for some time - step forward Santa Claus- will there be any more surprises when we land. (last week's surprise is shown above - front garden ).
